Pittsburgh, PA (WGR 550)  -- The Buffalo Sabres have selected center Justin Kea of the Saginaw Spirit in the 3rd round of the NHL Entry Draft. 

Kea is related to former NHLer Jeff Beukeboom, who was drafted 19th overall in 1983 by the Edmonton Oilers. 

Kea scored 3 goals and 14 points in 65 games last season.  The big guy (6'4", 212 lb.) registered 76 penalty minutes last season.
