The Buffalo Sabres selected Minnesota native and high school player Judd Peterson in the 7th round of the 2012 draft.

Peterson was a finalist for "Mr. Hockey" in Minnesota this year scoring 83 points in 30 games. Peterson is 6-foot, 195-pounds.  He has committed to St. Cloud State.
