After plenty of deliberation over whether he'd be moved or not, Derek Roy has been traded to the Dallas Stars in exchange for forward Steve Ott and defenseman Adam Pardy.  Ott is the centerpiece of the deal with 85 goals, 220 points and 1170 penalty minutes in 566 NHL games.

Pardy figures to be a depth defenseman.  He played 36 games for Dallas last season, recording three assists.
