One of the best quarterbacks in the NFL will not be leaving New Orleans. The Saints signed QB Drew Brees to a 5-year, $100 million deal. ESPN reports that contract contains $60 million in guaranteed money and Brees' 2012 season will pay him $40 million.

Brees had until Monday at 4 p.m. ET to reach a long-term contract with the Saints or his only option would have been to play in 2012 under the terms of his franchise tender of $16.371 million
