Buffalo Business Report - Monday, July 16th 2012



Local gas prices are inching upwards again. The AAA pegs the latest per gallon price for unleaded in the region at an average of $3.61. That's twenty-one cents higher than the national average price of $3.40 per gallon.

The Sabres remain a hot ticket in town. More than 99% of season ticket holders last year have renewed for this season. Team president Ted Black also noted that the club has a waiting list of over 3,000 names for season tickets.

Depew's Northeast Mechanical has been awarded the contract to supply the HVAC for the new T.Y. Lin International Engineering firm moving into the former Corn Exchange building on South Elmwood Avenue.

The newest Total Tan outlet has opened at 7660 Transit Road in Williamsville. The salon replaces an older one nearby.

The free classified ads website Kedna-dot-com has added a presence in Buffalo and Brooklyn.
