Sabres sign Tarnasky, re-sign Brennan



The Buffalo Sabres announced they have signed forward Nick Tarnasky and re-upped with defenseman T.J. Brennan.

Tarnasky, a 6-foot-2, 224-pound foward played in the KHL last season. He's a former ninth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning, he's scored 30 points (13+17) with 297 penalty minutes in 245 games with Tampa Bay, Nashville and Florida.

Brennan played 11 games with the Sabres last season, scoring one goal. However, he was one of the AHL's defensive scorers with 16 goals for the Rochester Americans.
