Grigorenko Signs With Sabres

The Buffalo Sabres have officially signed Mikhail Grigorenko to an entry-level deal.

The 12th overall pick in this year's draft joins Zemgus Girgensons as fellow first round draft picks to have signed with the Sabres this offseason.

Grigorenko spent last year with the Quebec Ramparts of the QMJHL, recording 40 goals and 85 points in 59 games.

The Russian native is the Sabres highest draft selection on a forward since the team selected Thomas Vanek 5th overall in 2003.
