Perhaps it was the turnbuckle slam move in this year's playoffs that made it clear to the Flyers that they wanted Shea Weber. Philadelphia GM Paul Holmgren has signed defenseman Shea Weber to a 14-year offer sheet worth upwards of $100 million. The Nashville Predators have seven days to match.
If ever a player's style fit a team, it'd be Shea Weber and the Flyers. The compensation is tied to the next CBA, so it could be FOUR 1st rounders, or a package that's slightly less than that.
