I’ve been concerned with the linebackers for a few weeks now. Mostly concerned about their ability, as a group, to stop the run. With the aggressive defensive line the Bills now have, those backers will be asked to plug more holes and make more 1-on-1

Derek Hagan probably entered training camp on the outside looking in as far as a spot on the 53 man roster was concerned. But a solid camp has likely elevated him, at the very least, to “on the bubble” if not the front runner for the final spot in the wide receivers group.

Merriman: "Best I've felt in three years"

A year ago the Bills needed Shawne Merriman to play like the guy who was “lights out” in San Diego. Now they just need Merriman to be a situational pass rusher and that seems more realistic. Off season surgery has Merriman feeling like a new man as the Bills prepare for the pre season opener.
