Ernie Els Wins the Bristish Open as Adam Scott Collapses

Ernie Els has won his second British Open after a thrilling final round saw Adam Scott fall apart in the final four holes losing his four stroke lead. Els birdie on the 18th hole helped earn him his fourth major championship along with his second Claret Jug.

Els final birdie putt on the 18th green left him with a final score of -7 with then leader Adam Scott still on the course. Els then sat and watchedd from the clubhouse as Scott's four stroke lead was earsed by four straight bogeys to end his tournament. Scott opened the day as the leader. He even pushed his lead out to four strokes with a birdie on the 14th hole. After bogeys on the 15th, 16th, and 17th, Scott needed a par on the 18th  to force a playoff with Els. But Scott's drive found a bunker and despite a terrific iron third shot to put him eight feet from the cup, Scott pushed his par putt wide to give the tournament to Els.

Els was one of the few golfers atop the final leaderboard to have a good last round of golf. He finished the day with a two under 68. Scott, meanwhile, had his worse round of the tournament, shooting a five over 75. Tiger Woods also came into the final day with a shot a the Claret Jug. For Tiger though, he couldn't find his touch with the short game and stay put in third place with a three over 73 stroke day. One time leader Brandt Snedeker tied with Woods for third with a four over 74 shot day.

When assessing the Bills defense, what has been the biggest problem?
  It was mostly coaching
It was mostly a lack of talent
It was 50/50 coaching and talent
