Orchard Park, NY (WGR 550) -- NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports The Buffalo Bills are set to acquire Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson. According to CBS Sports' Jason LaCanfora, Jackson has been working with the Bills to restructure his contract, which is the only hang up on the trade.
Jackson's current deal is set to pay him $4 million for the 2012 season. Jackson became trade bait due to the emergence of rookie Quarterback Russell Wilson. The Seahawks also signed Matt Flynn in the offseason to compete for the starting Quarterback job.
Originally drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft, Jackson was signed by the Seahawks prior to the 2011 season to compete for the starting QB job. Jackson started 15 out of the team's 16 games last season and threw for 3,091 yards, 14 touchdowns, 13 interceptions and had a 79.2 Quarterback rating.
