The price of a gallon of gas in Western New York has risen eight cents since Monday to an average of $4.06. According to the AAA, the national average is nineteen cents lower, at $3.87 per gallon.

Uniland Development is changing its Sheridan Meadows Office Park to a residential development. The new proposal for a 70-unit townhouse goes before the Amherst Planning Board September 20th.

Tim Hortons is poised to build a new restaurant on Abbott Road and Salem Street near Mercy Hospital. Business First reports the proposed site has a vacant dentists office.

The Downtown Buffalo Athletic Club has re-opened. $450,000 was invested in the renovation.
