Amerks to play game in Buffalo

With the NHL players locked out, the Buffalo Sabres are making plans to show off their minor league club at First Niagara Center.

The Rochester Americans will play in downtown Buffalo on Oct. 23 against the Hamilton Bulldogs.

If the lockout lasts through December, the Amerks could play another game in Buffalo.
