Amerks Will Open Camp in Buffalo

The Rochester Americans continue to try to fill the void left by the Sabres during the NHL lockout. The Amerks will open training camp Friday, September 28 at First Niagara Center. They'll hold a session from 11:45a.m. to 2:30p.m. that will be open to the public. There will be another skate in Buffalo Saturday morning but that will be closed to the public.

Here's the roster for camp:
