Red Sox Fire Bobby Valentine

After just one year on the job, Bobby Valentine has been let go by the Red Sox. Boston finished last in the A.L. East this season, winning 69 games. The Sox held a fire sale this season, dealing away big-name players such as Josh Beckett, Adrian Gonzalez and Carl Crawford.

The team announced an immediate search for Valentine's replacement.
