NFL Re-Issues Bounty System Punishments

The National Football League has re-issued suspensions for four New Orleans Saints players who were punished for their role in the Saints Bounty System.

Jonathan Vilma, Scott Fujita, Anthony Hargrove and Will Smith had suspensions lifted last month by an appeals panel while the league further reviewed the punishment.

Vilma's suspension was upheld, he will miss the rest of the season. Scott Fujita's punishment has been reduced from three to one game. Anthony Hargrove's suspension has been reduced by one game from eight to seven and Will Smith's 4-game suspension was upheld.

The NFLPA issued this statement:

"For more than six months, the NFL has ignored the facts, abused the process outlined in our collective bargaining agreement and failed to produce evidence that the players intended to injure anyone, ever. The only evidence that exists is the League’s gross violation of fair due process, transparency and impartiality during this process. Truth and fairness have been the casualties of the league’s refusal to admit that it might have made a mistake. We will review this decision thoroughly and review all options to protect our players’ rights with vigilance."

Chris Bosh says that the fans that left early in Game 6 shouldn't come back for Game 7. Is he right?
Yes. Leaving that game is indefensible. Stay away.
No. It's every fan's right to leave when he/she sees fit. Relax Bosh.
