Buffalo Business Report - Monday, October 22nd 2012

The AAA reports that local gas prices dropped four cents this past weekend to an average of $4.05 per gallon.  However, the gulf between the local and national price has widened to thirty-eight cents per gallon.  It's generally a twelve cent difference.

The Niagara Frontier Automobile Dealers note September was a poor month for vehicle sales.  There was an overall 5% dip in sales compared to figures from a year ago.  Chevrolet doesn't report sales for consideration.

The Saratoga office of Sotheby's International Realty is listing a private residence in Lewiston.  Business First reports the asking price is $1.45 million for the 85-hundred square foot home.
First Niagara Financial Group net income was off 11% for its third quarter.  That still meant a return of fourteen cents per share, as opposed to last year's nineteen cents per share.
