The AAA reports the current average cost for a gallon of unleaded gas in the region is $4.00.  That's a nickel less than the cost at the start of the week.

Tonawanda's Engine Plant will be making the new Gen 5 small block engines for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette models.  Business First points out the Tonawanda facility was the first to build the small block V8 in 1955.
