Buffalo Business Report - Wednesday, October 31st 2012



Ellicott Development Company has purchased two Franklin Street buildings for $375,000 through its Huron Group affiliate.  Business First reports the buildings are next to the Crosby Building already owned by Ellicott Development.  A number of plans are being considered for the site.

Welded Tube USA, Incorporated, a subsidiary of Welded Tube of Canada, has finalized an agreement to buy 45 acres in Lackawanna's Tecumseh Business Park.  Construction is expected to be completed in February of 2013.  It could lead to more than 100 new jobs were finished.

Standard Parking has had its contract renewed for five years at Buffalo Niagara and Niagara Falls International Airports.  The firm will continue to provide parking and shuttle transportation services.

Yankee Spirits celebrates its tenth anniversary next month.  On Saturday, it begins grand re-opening specials at its new location in the former Blockbuster at 1009 Payne Avenue in North Tonawanda.
