Bills WR Jones has setback Friday

Orchard Park, NY (WGR 550)  -- The way the practice week had been rolling along, it seemed as though the Buffalo Bills were trending towards having no surprise injuries creep up on them for their upcoming game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Then, Donald Jones' calf injury acted up. The wide receiver had to sit out of the team's win over Jacksonville because of the ailment, but resumed work the following week and started versus St. Louis.

Jones practiced in full through the first two practices of the week, but didn't get many reps on Friday according to head coach Chan Gailey.

"Eh, we'll see. I don't know," Gailey said when asked if he's optimistic about Jones' chances for Sunday. "It shows up and doesn't show up, it shows up and doesn't show up. We'll see about Sunday."

The head coach was then asked if it's just a 'depend-on-the-day' situation, to which he affirmed with a simple nod of the head. Jones is listed as questionable for the Seahawks game.

Other than Jones, the Bills' biggest toss-up from the injury report is defensive end Mark Anderson. He returned to the practice field  this week for the first time in over two months after tearing his lateral meniscus in his left knee. The Bills officially listed him as questionable for the contest.

The defensive end said during the week, however, that he wouldn't want to take reps away from his teammates unless he was around 90-percent and could contribute to the pass rush.

Linebacker Nick Barnett returned to practice after missing both Wednesday and Thursday. A knee injury slowed his normal week of work down, but Gailey expects him to play despite being listed as questionable.

Besides that trio, Jairus Byrd, Marcell Dareus, Spencer Johnson, Andy Levitre, Leodis McKelvin and Justin Rogers have all been declared questionable for the game. With all working throughout the week, it's likely that all suit up for the upcoming contest.

The Bills have only ruled center Eric Wood out with his knee injury. The team will once again use undrafted rookie David Snow in the middle of the offensive line in Wood's place.

The Bills and Seahawks square off at the Rogers Centre in Toronto on Sunday at 4:05 pm.

Chris Bosh says that the fans that left early in Game 6 shouldn't come back for Game 7. Is he right?
Yes. Leaving that game is indefensible. Stay away.
No. It's every fan's right to leave when he/she sees fit. Relax Bosh.
