Buffalo Business Report - Monday, December 17th 2012



The AAA reports the average price for a gallon of unleaded gas in Western New York has dropped four cents in the past week to $3.75.  However, the gap between the local price and the national cost of $3.25 has widened to fifty cents.

Benderson Development has purchased the former American Axle complex on Walden Avenue.  Business First reports the price of the acquisition was $2.375 million.
St. John Fruit Belt Community Development Corporation has broken ground on its $15.3 million project.  The plan is to construct 49 new town homes near the Buffalo Niagara medical Campus.

PR firm Travers Collins has been retained as the marketing communications agency of record for Baltimore-based Bakery Express.

Depew's Northeast Mechanical has been named an Angie's List Super Service Award winner for the second consecutive year.
