The candidates are not confirmed, but there is speculation that the team has interest in Cardinals Former Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt, Defensive Coordinator Ray Horton, and Offensive Line Coach Russ Grimm. Tim Graham of the Buffalo News reports that Brandon is "fond" of Whisenhunt, and he also has ties to Assistant G.M. Doug Whaley. Whisenhunt was fired by Arizona on Black Monday.
The Bills could be looking at other candidates as well. WGR's Howard Simon reports the team plans on making a run at Oregon Coach Chip Kelly and ESPN's Adam Shefter tweets that the Bills also have asked for permission to speak with Broncos Offensive Coordinator Mike McCoy.
Other coaches who have been linked to Buffalo are: Former Raiders Head Coach Hue Jackson, and Syracuse Head Coach Doug Marrone. It is also reported that Lovie Smith has interest in possibly becoming Chan Gailey's replacement.
