The former Syracuse head coach accrued a 25-25 record in his four seasons with the Orange before bolting for the Bills' job. Some fans look at that record and shake their head in disbelief that the team would hire that person to be a head coach in the NFL. Adam Benigni of WGRZ (Channel 2 in Buffalo) caught up with Syracuse Post Standard columnist Bud Poliquin on that exact topic.
"When you are 25-25 after inheriting basically the land of the zombies, you've done something pretty extraordinary," the columnist told Benigni.
They touched on a number of different topics as well, including some insight in to Marrone's personality in calling him "thin-skinned."
