TSN.ca reports the NHL Players Association has voted to ratify the new collective bargaining agreement. Before the agreement is finalized however, a written memorandum of understanding must be completed.  After the Memo of Understanding is completed and signed, the league will officially release the 48 game schedule, which will begin next Saturday.
