Luke Wiles's powerplay goal with 23.6 seconds left in regulation broke a 13-13 tie to give Buffalo their final lead of the game before Anthony Cosmo shut down Philadelphia's last second chance to force overtime.
All three of Buffalo's wins this season have been decided by one goal with the last two in doubt until the final minute of play.
The Bandits led 12-10 at the end of third quarter but the Wings tied the game by the middle of the fourth. John Tavares's only goal of the night gave Buffalo the lead with 4:09 to go. Drew Westervelt evened things up at 13 on a shorthanded goal with 43 seconds remaining in regulation before Wiles's game winner.
Shawn Williams, playing in his NLL-record 200th consecutive game, led all scorers with six assists. Mike Hominuck registered his second-straight hat trick. Chad Culp, Dave Brock and rookie Dhane Smith all scored twice for Buffalo. Anthony Cosmo stopped 36 of the 49 shots he faced for his second-straight win.
The Bandits improved to 3-1 and are a half game behind first place Toronto, who Buffalo will host next Saturday at the FNC.
