Grigorenko Stays in Sabre Lineup

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Since Sunday's game, Sabres fans have been wondering if Mikhail Grigorenko would be in the lineup beyond the five game tryout. The answer has come: it is yes.

GM Darcy Regier announced Grigorenko will be in the Sabres lineup for tonight's game against Toronto. This is the sixth game of the season, which was critical, because by rule, if Grigorenko played more than the five games, that would count as one year in his entry-level contract.

Grigorenko did not score any points but Regier says Grigorenko's play merited staying in the lineup, as opposed to going back to junior play.
