Earlier this week, Casino City's Indian Gaming Industry Report was released.  Nationally, revenue for 2011 was up 3%, but in New York state the opposite was true.  Revenues for Empire State gambling halls dropped 3% to $921 million.

According to WGRZ-TV, Romanello's Restaurant in Hamburg will close this Saturday.  Unused gift certificates can be redeemed at The Old Orchard Inn.

Yancey's Fancy has added a sponsorship deal with the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes to its portfolio.  Terms of the deal were not made public.  Yancey'sFancy has sponsorship deals with the Sabres, Amerks and Syracuse athletics.    

Tops Markets received a pair of awards tied to the merchandising and marketing of beef; the National Cattlemen's Beef Association 2012 National Retail Innovator of the Year Award and the NYS Retail Beef Backer Award from the New York Beef Industry Council.

For a fifth consecutive year, Canterbury Woods received a five-star rating from U.S. News & World Report's annual list of Best Nursing Homes.
