Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) -- The Sabres have called up winger Brian Flynn from Rochester. Thomas Vanek didn’t practice on Friday and coach Ron Rolston downplayed the injury, “Yes, maintenance, he’s put a lot of minutes in so it was just more of a maintenance day.”
To make room for Flynn the Sabres have put Jordan Leopold on IR.
In Rochester Flynn has scored 16 goals and 16 assists in 45 games.
