Bills Release Statement on Phone Prank



A Deadspin article has laid out details and included audio of a taped conversation between Bills GM Buddy Nix and Tampa GM Mark Dominik. A couple of pranksters managed to tape a phone conversation between the two. In this conversation, Nix talks about QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and how they'll need to do something with his contract moving forward.

The Bills are saying:
"We are aware of the report on Deadspin involving a phone conversation with Bills GM Buddy Nix. We have made the league aware of the report and are reviewing it with legal counsel."

What a Joke
After hearing this guy speak to another GM both about his present situation and future plans, one thing is obvious, This guy is a complete joke. He sounded like a guy that completely lost in his comments. If I got a call from this guy I certainly would not take him seriously.

Amazing!!! this guy needs to be fired. There must be processes within the organization to deal with these pranks. How can a guy that is managing a multi million dollar organization still be around after this... shows what a joke the Bills have become.... very sad... sad sad sad!!! Fire NIX!!!

Friggin' hilarious!
Keep in mind, these guys didn't just dupe Nix they got Mark Dominik as well! Absolutely brilliant! I'm not sure how anyone can make Nix out to look like a moron when, in fact, he made some good points and Mark Dominik was pretty casual about his issues as well. What is interesting is that the Bills are well aware that Fitzpatrick is pretty much a goner.

My god, there seems no limits to the embarrasments these circuses work tirelessly to manufacture for themselves!! They are a mockery to the "traditional" great WNY fans who used to live and breath these teams everyday. I haven't been in attendance to watch these clowns for over 10 years. Phone number verification
Nix really should have verified the phone number however he was just going about his business and no wrong doing here on his part. Fitz had to have be told how things are and the private discussion should have been no one's business. Nix is well respected around the league. If he wasn't, the Tampa GM wouldn't have even entertained his call. People that are saying he's the joke or are jealous they didn't think of it, are jokes themselves... grow up people.

not for being involved in a prank, but for not having a number 2 last year, which resulted in Fitz being handcuffed from scrabbling.....the very thing that helped him succeed the year before.
