Buffalo Business Report - Monday, March 18th 2013



Local gas prices receded all of one penny over the weekend.  The AAA reports the average cost for a gallon of unleaded in the Buffalo-Niagara region is down to $3.94.

KeyCorp has been given the go-ahead for a share repurchase program.  Business First reports the parent of Key Bank will buy back up to $426 million of the firm's common stock.  In addition, KeyCorp will consider boosting the quarterly stock dividend by one cent to six cents per share this spring.

Buffalo-based BlackDog Strategy & Brand has opened an office in Sacramento, California.  The company also operates offices from Albany and Boston.

Seneca Gaming will host a job fair for positions at the expanded Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino this Saturday from 10am-4pm at the Flickinger Athletic Center on ECC's City campus.  Jobs include supervisors, cashiers, bartenders, servers, chefs and maintenance workers.
