Buffalo Business Report - Tuesday, April 23rd 2013

Three major projects received tax breaks from the Erie County Industrial Development Agency.  Those projects are expected to bring in more than $25 million in local investment and more than 100 new jobs.  The projects are the new FedEx facility in Tonawanda's Riverview Solar Technology Park, an adaptive re-use plan for adjoining properties in the 100 block of Swan Street in Buffalo and the new Tonawanda headquarters building for Niagara Blower.

Astronics Corporation subsidiary Panasonic Avionics has a new deal to provide EmPower In-Seat Systems to Airbus 350 aircraft.  

Business First reports Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Western New York in Wyoming County has changed hands.  Sun Communities Inc./Sun RV Resorts bought the park.  Terms of the deal were not made public.  

Northwest Bancshares Incorporated reported first quarter net income came in at seventeen cents per share, up a penny from net income a year ago.
