Bills get 16 UDFAs, cut four to make room

(WGR 550) -- Just a couple of days after the 2013 NFL Draft ended, the Buffalo Bills went to work to secure some of the players that did not hear their name called throughout the seven-round selection process.

The Bills announced on Monday that they've agreed to terms 16 undrafted free agents, including wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers from Tennessee Tech who many expected to be a Day Two pick.

The rest of the undrafted free agents include guard Zack Chibane (Syracuse), defensive end Izaan Cross (Georgia Tech), safety Jordan Dangerfield (Towson), cornerback Kip Edwards (Richmond), wide receiver Brandon Kaufman (Eastern Washington), cornerback Vernon Kearney (Lane), wide receiver Kevin Norrell (Stony Brook), linebacker Keith Pough (Howard), cornerback Nickell Robey (USC), cornerback Jumal Rolle (Catawba), fullback Drew Smith (Albany), defensive tackle Aaron Tipoti (California), quarterback Jeff Tuel (Washington State) and center Ryan Turnley (Pittsburgh).

Adding 16 players would have brought the Bills up over the 90-player roster limit, so the Bills had to release four players as a result. The team announced shortly after that quarterback Aaron Corp, offensive lineman Adam Grant, kicker Chris Koepplin and tight end Joe Sawyer have been waived.

The roster is now up to date, and stands at 90 total.
