Although the session was closed to the media, offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett confirmed that Johnson did take part in the practice.
"His presence has been out there the whole time, it's just nice to see him in a helmet I think from all of our standpoint," he said. "The good thing is, Stevie's done a great job being out there and supporting everybody because he's obviously had to have some growing pains in the new system. So he's been able to really get a lot of mental reps, and I think being out there helping those guys has been critical for all of them."

On Monday (as seen above), Johnson was working intensively with trainers along the sidelines as he was getting closer to a return. Johnson hasn't been able to take part in any team workouts since straining his back at the team's voluntary veteran minicamp in April. The Bills have Wednesday off and get back to work on Thursday to wrap up their final practice of the second week of OTAs.
