Bills sign OL Legursky

(WGR 550) -- A day after having him in for a visit, the Buffalo Bills announced they have struck a deal with interior offensive lineman and unrestricted free agent Doug Legursky on Wednesday.

Legursky, 26, has spent each of the past four seasons as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He made 17 starts over that time and has experience at both center and guard. He appeared in 50 total games, including making 10 starts during the 2011 season.

Legursky may enter a competition for the starting left guard position with the Bills. After Andy Levitre left through free agency, the Bills have used Colin Brown, Chris Scott and Sam Young at first team left guard at different points throughout the off-season workouts.

Legursky, a native of Frankfurt, Gemany, went to college at Marshall. He and the Bills will start mandatory mini-camp on Tuesday, June 11.
