Bandits Hire Troy Cordingley as Head Coach

BUFFALO, NY (WGR 550)  -- The Buffalo Bandits have a new head coach, as the team announced on Wednesday the hiring of Troy Cordingley.

Cordingley served as the Head Coach for the Toronto Rock for the last four years, and led his team to the Champion’s Cup in 2011.  He replaces Darris Kilgour behind the bench, who has been the Bandits coach since 2002.

In addition to his coaching career, Cordingley played pro lacrosse from 1993 to 2001, including seven with the Bandits. He ranks in the top 10 in Bandits history in goals (96), assists (137) and points (233) and won two championships with the black and orange.
