The difference between the national and local average gas prices for unleaded continues to be twenty-three cents.  According to the AAA, the local average is $3.71, the national average is $3.48.

A Tonawanda pharmacy will move into a parcel soon to be vacated by a local donut shop.  Business First reports the Buffalo Planning Board has agreed to a deal that will bring the CVS pharmacy across from Budwey's to the plaza across the street.  CVS will build a new store on the site of the current Paula's Donuts which will move before the fall to a strip plaza on Sheridan Drive.  Paula's will go next to the store front that used to be home to Jet Doughnuts.

The Buffalo Sabres had made a pitch to share management of Rochester's Blue Cross Arena.  According to the Democrat & Chronicle, Mayor Thomas Richards would prefer to extend the current management agreement by one year.

Hardwood floor manufacturer Mullican Flooring has added two engineered collections - or nineteen additional selections - to its roster of Made-In-America products.
