This Thursday, the Amherst Planning Board will take a look at two apartment project proposals.  One plan would develop 44 apartments on a parcel fronting Linwood Avenue and South Forest Road.  The other project would add a second and third story to an existing building on Main near Eggert.  Seven more apartment units would result.

Small Business loans through July were up 8.5% compared to a year ago and the dollar amount handed out was up 28% for the period.  M&T, First Niagara and Five Star Bank remain 1-2-3 in small business loan lending.
