Bills release another offensive lineman

Pittsford, NY (WGR 550)  -- The deadline to get to the next roster limit of 75 players is still a week away, but the Buffalo Bills are already closing in on that roster size. Continuing with their recent wave of transactions, the team announced that they've parted ways with guard Keith Williams.

Williams had been injured for much of training camp at St. John Fisher College, and was released under the designation of "waived/injured." When healthy, he was working with the second-team as the right guard on that unit.

The Bills active roster is now down to 79 players. The deadline to get to 75 isn't until Tuesday, August 27 at 4 pm.
