Buffalo Business Report -Wednesday, August 21st 2013



New York State has released its July 2013 unemployment rates.  For the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area, that rate has fallen 1.5% from last year's number to 7.4%.  Statewide, the unemployment figure was 7.2% for July 2013.

The new location of Paula's Donuts opens today.  They are in the former Weston's Hardware on Sheridan Drive near Belmont.

October 11th is the opening date set for Trader Joe's.  The store is next to Barnes & Noble on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

The Buffalo Bills have announced a partnership with Ellicott Hospitality Company.  As part of that agreement, the team hotel for home games will be the Wyndham Garden Hotel & Residences on Main Street near the 290.

For the fifth consecutive year, Inc. Magazine has named Tully Rinckney PLLC to its Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies.
