Although four cents lower than the cost a year ago, the current local average for a gallon of unleaded gas is $3.82.  That's twenty-eight cents higher than the national average of $3.54.

Buffalo's City Mission has decided against pursuing the former A&P warehouse on Swan Street as its new homeless shelter.  Development costs proved prohibitive.  The City Mission will continue to look for a site to expand its services.

M&T Bank has leased more space on the first floor of the Lafayette Court building.  The bank now leases more than 98,000 square feet at the site, taking over former office space occupied by Congresswoman Louise Slaughter.

Buffalo is the latest market able to get AT&T's Digital Life home security and automation system.  The service works with any broadband and 3G wireless service and is also available even if you are a Verizon, Sprint or T-Mobile customer.
