Buffalo Business Report - Tuesday, August 27th 2013



Starting tomorrow, Lancaster's Sealing Devices, Incorporated will begin installation of a large solar energy system on the roof of its headquarters building.  According to Business First, Sealing Devices is among 28 companies in the state divvying up $46 million for large scale solar energy projects.

Developer and current Buffalo School Board member Carl Paladino remains mum on his plans for Holy Angels Academy.  Paladino bought the former all-girl's school at auction for $2.9 million.  There has been speculation he will lease the property to a charter school; that's based on gym equipment Paladino also bid on at the auction.

EmbroidMe, billed as the world's largest embroidery, screen printing and promotional products franchise, has opened its newest location in the Brisbane Building in downtown Buffalo.

This Saturday, Mighty Taco celebrates 40 years of business in Western New York.
