Buffalo Business Report - Wednesday, September 25th 2013



Kaleida Health reports it has received three responses from developers to its Request For Proposal for the former Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital site.  Kaleida will study the responses and meet with the developers over the next few weeks before making a decision.  The RFP was re-issued in July after a proposed veterinary school plan failed to materialize.

Resurgence Brewing Company and Beer Garden plans to open next spring at 1250 Niagara Street.  

According to the State Labor Department, the unemployment rate for the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area was down more than 1% to 7.3%, comparing this August to August 2012.

Batavia's Graham Corporation has secured three new contracts worth $7.5 million.  The company is also making plans to expand its facility in Genesee County.

David's Star Automotive has opened for business at 303 Hopkins Road in South Buffalo.

Buffalo-based Copier Fax Business Technologies has become the exclusive copier and document management partner for Bill Gray's Regional Iceplex in Rochester
