Buffalo Business Report - Wednesday, October 2nd 2013

Will Poultry Company is being sold to a group of local investors.  Business First reports that "most, but not all" of the 113 workers will be re-hired December 28th by the new owners.  No sale price was made public.

Astronics Corporation has agreed to pay $12 million to acquire AeroStat Corporation.  The New Hampshire-based AeroStat designs and makes fuselage and tail-mounted antenna systems for the aircraft industry.

Cleveland BioLabs has secured a loan for up to $10 million with a specialty finance company.  $6 million will be available at closing with the remainder to be paid out if Cleveland BioLabs is successful in getting a development contract or other funding for its radiation countermeasure Entolimod.

Schrock Metal Products of Akron will hold a 10am ribbon cutting ceremony and open house Friday, October 18th.  The company is located at 13557 Bloomingdale Road.
