SCHEFTER: Bills Open to Dealing S Byrd

Orchard Park, NY (WGR 550)  -- ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted the following just before 10:00 AM on Sunday:

"Bills know wisest course of action is to trade franchise S Jairus Byrd and they now are open to dealing him, per sources. Talks ongoing."

Byrd held out most of training camp after the team placed the franchise tag on him.  The two sides could not agree to a long term agreement, so they settled on a one-year deal worth $6.9 million.

Byrd has yet to suit up for the Bills, as he has been battling plantar fasciitis.  Stay tuned to WGR 550 for the latest.

Are you planning to see Connor McDavid when he plays at FNC this season?
Absolutely. Its a chance to see a generational player in person
Yes and I'm going to see some games in Erie too
No. The Sabres probably won't get him so I don't need to see him
