There is still a thirty-five cent difference between the national pump price and what the average cost per gallon of unleaded is locally.  According to the AAA, the Western New York average is $3.70.

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference has made bids to host a number of Division I Championships.  Among them are a return of the Frozen Four to First Niagara Center and Men's Lacrosse at Ralph Wilson Stadium.  The downtown arena will host NCAA Men's Basketball 2nd and 3rd round games next March.

Mattress Firm Buffalo has opened its sixth Western New York location.  The latest site is next to Tops at the intersection of Routes 5 and 63 in Batavia.

Turner Construction Company of Buffalo has been selected as construction manager for the $21 million Buffalo State Science Building Phase II.

First quarter earnings and sales were down sharply for Tonawanda's Taylor Devices.
