HealthNow New York will consolidate its workforce at its West Genesee Street headquarters. No job cuts will result and HealthNow will sub-let 28,000 square feet of space it vacates to URS Corporation. That move was approved by the ECIDA, which also approved tax abatement packages to assist Upstate Niagara Cooperative expand Greek-style yogurt production at a plant in West Seneca.
M&T Bank had the highest Small Business Administration loan volume by dollar value for the 19th straight year. The Buffalo District Office says M&T approved 260 loans in the fiscal year, totaling over $44 million.
Waterbourne Construction Advisors has been retained by the Lockport Ice Rink and Sports Complex. The $12 million complex is expected to open in September of 2014.
The Maid of the Mist will offer free rides this Friday and Saturday as it extends its season by those two days. Friday hours are 10am-5pm; Saturday 10am-6pm.
