Buffalo Business Report - Thursday, October 24th 2013

Flying Bison Brewing Company is about to take wing.  Business First reports that the company seems to be eyeing a vacant Seneca Street building just east of Larkinville.  Founder and GM Tim Herzog has declined comment, other than to say a number of details need to be ironed out first.  Flying Bison has been leasing from DiVal Safety Equipment, which needs room to expand at its Ontario Street site.

HSBC Bank USA N.A. won't completely abandon the tower that still holds its name  - for now.  HSBC will reportedly rent a small amount of space as it moves out to facilities in Buffalo and Depew.

Time Warner Cable has agreed to carry Al Jazeera America.  No terms were announced.  The rollout begins in New York City and Los Angeles, with other Time Warner systems getting the program by next March.

AT&T has expanded mobile internet service throughout Orleans and parts of Niagara County.

Court reporting firm Jack W. Hunt & Associates, Inc. will move its offices to 424 Main Street effective October 28th.
