Scott suspended seven games for Eriksson hit

Buffalo Sabres left wing John Scott has been suspended seven games, without pay, for his hit on Bruins right wing Loui Eriksson.

This is Scott's first suspension and is also receiving a fine of over $25,000. Scott served three of the games while waiting to meet with the league.

Scott received a match penalty for the hit as the Sabres fell to the Bruins 5-2 on October 23. He was suspeneded by the league indefinitely following the game and was informed of the length of his suspension during a meeting with the NHL on Wednesday.  The Sabres are down two roster spots due to suspensions of Scott and Patrick Kaleta.

Eriksson sustained a concussion from the hit and missed his fourth-straight game on Thursday. Officials are still not sure when he will return.

If report of Toronto bid being maxed out at $1.2 billion is true, what would you think?
Toronto is dead. The Buffalo Bills are here to stay!!!!
I'd still be guarded. What if a bidder comes out of nowhere?
