Buffalo Business Report - Friday, November 1st 2013

According to the AAA, local gas prices have fallen another two cents to an average of $3.60 for unleaded.  That's thirty-two cents more than the national average of $3.28.

A private development team has proposed a $35 million multi-use recreation and entertainment development for a portion of Ganson Street along the Buffalo River.  Sources tell Business First the facility would include an events center, amphitheater and at least two outdoor hockey rinks.  The project would reportedly be developed in phases.

Now open at the Galleria is Crazy 8.  The store sells kids clothing and accessories.  It's located on the upper level near the food court.

In third quarter earnings news, Gibraltar Industries reported a loss of forty-four cents per share.
