Buffalo Business Report, Monday, November 11th 2013

The cost for a gallon of unleaded gas in the region is $3.56, on average, according to the AAA.  That's a drop of ten cents over the past three weeks.  The national average dropped fifteen cents over the same period.

Jamestown-based Colecraft Commercial Furnishings is looking into expansion possibilities.  The owner telling Business First he's interested in specific markets, like New England and the Mid-Atlantic, Washington, D.C., the central U.S. and Florida.

Five Star Bank is closing a retail branch located inside the Tops Market in Batavia.  Those customer accounts will be shifted to the branch at  401 West Main St., one of eight new branches that Five Star purchased from First Niagara in mid-2012.

Fourth quarter earnings for National Fuel Gas Co. came in at fifty-seven cents per share, one penny less than the same period a year ago.
